This policy explains Rupa Car Maidstone approach to ensuring that the services it provides are as safe as possible. It provides a framework to support the organization in ensuring it meets its safeguarding obligations.

The purpose of this policy is:

• To protect & support children, vulnerable adults, elderly citizens, staff (employees/ Subcontractors).
• To protect against any bully and harassment within the company or with any customers who will or using our service.
• To provide safe working environment to the  staff or anyone working on our principles directly or indirectly.
• Address the issues with in the community to make it safe and better place for the coming generations.

Rupa Car Maidstone believes that every individual has got its responsibility towards other either they are child, young person, or vulnerable adult. No one should ever face or experience any kind of abuse. We have a implemented and got the procedure in place to train our staff in regards to those issues. Most of our staff has great experience of dealing with children and elderly citizen. We are committed to practicing, recording, and reporting in a way that protects them. We understand that we have a serious responsibility and duty of care to ensure that children, young people, or vulnerable adults that we come in contact with are safe from any form of harm or abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional, or neglect.

We Recognize that:

• The welfare of the child or adult is paramount – this forms the basis of and underpins the principles set out in The Children Act 1989 (2004) and the Care Act 2014.
• All children, regardless of age, disability, gender, racial heritage, religious belief, sexual orientation, or identity, have a right to equal protection from all types of harm or abuse.
• Some children are additionally vulnerable because of the impact of previous experiences, their level of dependency, communication needs, or other issues.
• Working in partnership with children, young people, their parents, careers and other agencies are essential in promoting young people’s welfare.

We will seek to keep children, young people, and vulnerable adults safe by:

• Valuing them, listening to them, and respecting them.
• Adopting child protection practices and adult safeguarding practices through procedures and a code of conduct for staff.
• Developing and implementing an effective safety policy and related procedures.
• Providing effective management for staff through supervision, support, and training.
• Recruiting staff safely, ensuring all necessary checks are made, this will include DBS checks.
• Sharing information about child protection and good practice with children, parents, and staff as appropriate.
